The Committee on Orientation is dedicated to offering programming and support that reflects the University’s ideals of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion that are inherent to a liberal arts education.  New Deac Week and Extended Orientation activities are essential for enriching Wake Forest’s commitment to a welcoming and supportive community for all students. 

Diversity and inclusion are supported by several offices within the University, including the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, the Office of Civic and Community EngagementDiversity Education, the Intercultural Center, the LGBTQ Center, and the Women’s Center serve faculty, staff, and the community as well as students.  Faculty, staff, and students collaborate through a range of programs and practices designed to facilitate access, enhance equity, and broaden inclusion.
