Upcoming Major/Minor Declaration Events

Attention Second Year Students: Are you planning to declare a major or minor in February? Do you have some questions about majors and minors? Many departments are offering information sessions for potential majors/minors. Consider attending one of the events below:

Monday, January 30th from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in Tribble Hall B316: Philosophy Department Major/Minor Information Session.

Wednesday, February 1st at 5 p.m. in ZSR 426 (The Writing Center): Writing Minor Pizza Party- All current and prospective minors, as well as Writing Program faculty, welcome to this event. Event PDF

Wednesday, February 1st at 5 p.m. in Kirby B02: Economics Information Session for Potential Majors. Professor Griffith will talk with students about major requirements, what to do with an ECN major, and how pre-registration works. Event PDF

Thursday, February 2nd from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in Tribble A107: Information session about English major/minor, creative writing minor, journalism minor, and writing minor. Event PDF

Monday, February 6th from 2:15-3:15 p.m. in the lounge of Olin Physical Laboratory: Physics Department Major/Minor Information Session. Event PDF

Wednesday, February 8th from 3:30- 4:30 p.m. in the Museum of Anthropology: Anthropology Open House and Information Session open to potential majors and minors.

Thursday, February 9th from 3.30-5 p.m. at Zick’s: Anyone considering a major or minor in Classics is welcome to attend this informational reception. Current majors and minors are also encouraged to attend! Event PDF
