• Students must first communicate with the course instructor and their primary academic advisor. These conversations are critical to an informed decision about a drop at this point in the term. * To locate the primary academic advisor in Workday: log into Workday, go to the My Academics app, and click View My Support Network.
  • Second, students must obtain a written statement from both the instructor and primary academic advisor verifying that an informed conversation has occurred. Students will be asked to upload these statements in Workday.
  • Next, students must follow the instructions in the job aid/video to complete the prompts to submit the course withdrawal request including the statement from both the instructor and primary academic advisor no later than 11:59 p.m. ET on the last day of the Course Withdrawal Period based on the Academic Services Calendar.
  • Lastly, the withdrawal request will be routed to the appropriate offices for review and approval. Once all required approvals are completed, the course will appear in the student record with a grade of “W”.
